Punta Espada Golf Course
The Punta Espada Golf Course is located inside of the Cap Cana development south of the airport and is a true ocean front course. Eight of the holes are directly on the ocean with views of the Caribbean sea from 15 of the 18 holes. Punta Espada was designed by Jack Nicklaus and it is designed to take advantage of the spectacular natural terrain of varying elevations. The course boasts an incredibly dramatic coastline. Punta Espada has been rated the #1 golf course in Mexico and the Caribbean for two years in a row by Golfweek Magazine and is a stop on the PGA Champions Tour (the only stop on the tour outside of the USA).
